Winter is here in Seattle, and while the outdoors are a bit chilly, the city remains alive with a number of exciting events and popping destinations. These are our suggestions on the best ways to enjoy winter in Seattle this year.

Every February, an eclectic collection of Seattle museums and cultural institutions offer half-price admission as a part of Seattle Museum Month. The city’s best institutions take part including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center, the Bellevue Arts Museum, and the Seattle Art Museum

Hang At The Pacific Science Center

While we’re talking about warm, indoor institutions worth visiting when traveling in Seattle during the winter months, we have to mention the Pacific Science Center. Forget about the chilly outdoor air, and come in here where there are hundreds of interactive science exhibits, two IMAX theaters, a laser dome, tropical butterfly house, planetarium, and more.

Another easy way to dodge the cold during a chilly Seattle winter day is to hit the shops.
