Free First Thursday

On the first Thursday of each month, general admission to all permanent exhibits is free all day. Free exhibits include the Bezos Center for Innovation, Maritime Seattle, and True Northwest: The Seattle Journey.

Bezos Center for Innovation

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos donated $10 million to create this 5,000 square foot exhibit dedicated to highlighting Seattle’s booming science, design and technology industries. The exhibits features a number of local innovators, and highlights Seattle’s unique culture of creativity and discovery.

Maritime Seattle

In partnership with the Puget Sound Maritime Historical Society, this exhibit explores Seattle’s powerful link to its surrounding bodies of water. Industry, economic growth, and leisure time activities are all tied up in the city’s maritime history..
