French Cinema Now
September 29 - October 6
This year, French Cinema Now runs September 29-October 6, and is set to highlight the incredible diversity and beauty in contemporary Francophone film. We’re most looking forward to French-Lebanese director Danielle Arbid’s Parisienne, a captivating drama about an 18-year-old immigrant in Paris, and Robert Guédiguian’s Don’t Tell Me The Boy Was Mad, a film that attempts to grapple with the impact of the Amernian Genocide on a young man. Individual tickets cost $12, but if you’re planning to see more than 6 of the event’s 17 films, we’d recommend purchasing a $75 festival pass.
